Robert M. Lee, M.D.
Dr. Robert M. Lee is a specialist in the latest techniques of cataract surgery with intraocular lens implantation, including the "no stitch and no patch" technique. He is also one of the most experienced practitioners of corneal transplantation in Central Illinois. In addition, he has extensive experience in the treatment of all types of glaucoma and related glaucoma surgical procedures. He routinely performs YAG and Argon laser surgeries, and provides non-surgical medical eye care for all eye diseases as well as family eye services for glasses and contact lenses.
Educational background
Dr. Lee was born and raised in Galesburg, Illinois. He graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame in 1986, and then went on to receive his medical degree from the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in 1990. While in medical school, Dr. Lee was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society for outstanding medical students.
Dr. Lee did his internship at Columbus Hospital in Chicago, and then went on to receive specialty training in surgery and diseases of the eye at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Lee is married and has six children. He enjoys family activities and sports, especially baseball and basketball.
