Shawn M. Koehler, O.D.
Dr. Shawn M. Koehler joined the Gailey Eye Clinic in May of 2003 to provide primary eye care including routine eye exams, contact lens service, treatment and management of ocular diseases, and post-operative care.
Educational background
Dr. Shawn Koehler graduated from Illinois Valley Community College in Oglesby, Illinois with an Associate of Science Degree. He then went on to attend the University of Saint Francis (USF) in Joliet, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1998.
While at Saint Francis, he was an NAIA Academic All-American Student Athlete. He then studied at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. He was on the Dean's List and a member of Gold Key and Beta Sigma Kappa international honor societies. He received his Doctorate of Optometry in 2002.

He enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and being involved in his hometown community. He also enjoys golf, fishing and tennis.
