Karen Magers, RN Director
Bloomington Eye Institute

Karen has been Director of Bloomington Eye Institute since 1998, and is a graduate with honors from Mennonite Hospital School of Nursing in Bloomington, Illinois. She also worked with the Gailey physicians since 1979 as an eye surgery staff nurse and Eye Bank Coordinator.  Karen is responsible for managing the surgery center operations and supervising the surgical care staff.

Karen participates in several community activities, including ISU College of Nursing Alumni Board, Children’s Hospital of Illinois Community Advisory Board, and American Red Cross Evening of Stars committee.
