Dr. Imes was born in Greenfield, Indiana. He graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He went on to attend the Indiana University School of Optometry, receiving his Doctorate of Optometry in 1990. He received his clinical training through the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia, the Indiana University Eye Clinic in Indianapolis, Indiana, and the Chanute Air Force Base Hospital in Rantoul, Illinois.
Dr. Imes, his wife and son, moved to Danville in 2007, after practicing in Wisconsin for over 12 years. Dr. Imes is excited to serve the Danville community in providing primary eye care including routine eye exams, contact lens service, treatment and management of ocular diseases, and postoperative care. He brings extensive experience in comprehensive contact lens services such as bifocal contacts, difficult-to-fit contacts, pediatric contact lenses, and contacts for dry eyes.
He is very active in his church and has gone on multiple missions trips. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading and outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and skiing.
